"The Most Awkward
Love Life of Peabody Magoo"
by Brandon Monokian

His name is Peabody Magoo. Yes, that's two cartoon character names in one. First name: a cartoon dog. Last name: an old man who's face looks like a scrotum. An awkward name for an awkward boy. This is an adorably tragic search for love.

production history

The Most Awkward Love Life of Peabody Magoo premiered at the 2015 Philadelphia Fringe Festival where it showed for eight performances. It was directed by Brandon Monokian and starred Scott Brieden, Katie Frazer, Caitlin Gutches and Michelle Lupo.

In August, 2018 the show played the New Jersey Fringe Festival. It was directed by Brandon Monokian and starred Scott Brieden, Ramona Tim Kee, Josephine Patane and Hillary Wilson.

reviews

Broadway World called the show "intimate and heartfelt" and "a must see play at this year's Philly Fringe Festival," while Phindie said the show was "irresistibly sweet, adorable, and totally engaging" and that "this is one Fringe production that is meant to be seen en masse!"
