LOVE DRUNK LIFE

THE MURDER & BOOZE CABARET

Picture
Originally commissioned in 2015 as apart of the One Book New Canaan Project, The Murder & Booze Cabaret features real and real-crazy drunken tales of fame and violence from the 1920s fused with jazzy riffs on modern pop songs for a night of high notes, low blows, and bespoke cocktails.  Devised by Katie Frazer and Brandon Monokian and directed by Shamus Hunter McCarty, the show will play the 2019 Jersey and Philly Fringe Festivals and star Allison Boyle, Camille E. Young and Sam Kwietniak. Kwietniak will also provide musical arrangements for the show.

She has credits from multiple theaters including Maples Repertory Theater, Candlelight Dinner Theater, Cape May Stage, and Ocean City Theater Company. Allison is currently working as a voice teacher through the Willson Vocal Academy in Bryn Mawr, PA. Many thanks to our little Murder and Booze crew as well as Conor and my family.

Camille E. Young is a Phiadelphia-based actor, singer, and teaching artist. This is her first time working with Love Drunk Life, and as someone with a deep love for popular music she is delighted to be apart of The Murder & Booze Cabaret! Previously Camille has worked at various theaters in and around the Philadelphia-area including Theatre Horizon, Theatre Exile, 11th Hour Theatre Company and EgoPo Classic Theater and has participated in Philadelphia Fringe and various staged readings. Thank you to Love Drunk Life, family, and pals for their continued support.

Sam Kwietniak is a Philadelphia-based writer and musician. As 1/4 of the band Los Festingos, he's been performing in the area for over 10 years. His work celebrates nonsense, embraces imperfection and defies categorization. This is his first time doing this kinda thing.
