Love Drunk Life was hired to present a staged reading of Naomi Iizuka’s Anon(ymous) in February 2018 as part of the community-wide Princeton Migrations Project. Separated from his mother, a young refugee called Anon journeys through the United States, encountering a wide variety of people — some kind, some dangerous and cruel — as he searches for his family in this adaptation of Homer’s “Odyssey.”
Love Drunk Life was commissioned by the New Canaan Library in New Canaan CT to devise and present a new theatre piece as a culmination to their One Book New Canaan project. The piece was inspired by One Summer: America 1927 by Bill Bryson and was titled The Murder & Booze Cabaret and featured jazz arrangements of modern pop songs. The show played two sold out performances in March 2015 at the Powerhouse Theatre.
